Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, takes its crew of characters on a Christmas adventure unlike anything else to be experienced this holiday season. Opening on Friday, November 6 and continuing through Saturday, January 2, 2021, Pirates Voyage performs a twist on a classic Christmas tale with a bountiful feast that will combine a pirate’s “Yo Ho” with the season’s “Ho Ho Ho.”

Experience a holiday adventure with a swashbuckling spin on A Christmas Carol with Captain Scrooge and his faithful first mate Bob Crachit. The Mystical Christmas Spirit takes the captain through time to find the true meaning of Christmas, including a “dream” where giant toys come to life and perform amazing acrobatics high above the indoor lagoon. A comical Christmas castaway and her sea lion companion add to the fun and festive adventure. Guests also will be thrilled by an epic battle between the crimson and emerald pirates as they compete for the coveted Christmas treasure.
Guests are served a delicious four-course holiday feast straight from Captain Scrooge’s galley during their pirates’ voyage. The meal begins with voyager creamy vegetable soup and buccaneer bread. Next, guests receive “half o’ roasted cackler” (chicken), Captain’s barbeque pork, cob o’ buttery corn, and a pirate herb-basted potato. Apple o ’me eye pie and unlimited Coca-Cola® products, tea, or coffee complete the meal. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request.
The Fun, Feast & Adventure will continue in Pigeon Forge, TN with Blackbeard, and his quartermaster, Calico Jack, as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews in a battle on land, on deck, in water and high above full-sized pirate ships in an indoor hideaway lagoon! At the Christmas Celebration! Dinner Show, the joys and wonders of winter and the holidays weave a special tale as the attraction’s yuletide show returns for its second season. Now through Jan. 5, 2019, families are invited to create new holiday memories as holiday classics are combined with breathtaking acts and acrobatics, heart-warming music, merry décor and a festive, delicious feast.
This one-of-a-kind “must see” show combines spectacular holiday music, a live nativity, and millions of dollars in special effects. An exciting variety of acrobatic feats and an ice skating spectacular provide thrills that will last long after the show. Set in a small town that’s hit by a major snowstorm, the audience is taken on a journey with the cast to discover if these Christmas festivities will be cancelled, or whether the storm has set the stage for the most miraculous Christmas ever.
A Celebration version of The Nutcracker and the classic “12 Days of Christmas” are sure to become audience favorites. To conclude the show, a seasonal rendition of “Go Tell It On The Mountain” will move the audience as the scene is transformed into a Winter Wonderland and Christmas light spectacular.

This celebrated tradition features four million spectacular lights on display throughout the park. Cast members deliver show-stopping performances in shows like "Christmas in the Smokies" and "It’s a Wonderful Life." Children of all ages love meeting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Friends at Holly Jolly Junction. And to round out a festive day of joy and excitement, the heartwarming Parade of Many Colors winds through the park for all to see. The parade features whimsical floats, interactive characters and a heart-warming, cheerful message for Dollywood guests to enjoy.
A visit to Dollywood can also include a traditional Christmas meal as several of the park's menus feature holiday-themed items. Among the new offerings, this year is the Thanksgiving Feast sandwich—a ciabatta roll filled with cornbread dressing, slices of oven-roasted turkey breast, topped with cranberry sauce and served with sweet potato tater tots. Returning favorites include turkey and dressing, Christmas ham, chicken and dumplings, Cornish hens, center cut pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, hot flavored drinks like wassail, Mayfield hot chocolate and cider, and much more. Holiday desserts available throughout the park include gingerbread man cookies and red velvet and pumpkin spice funnel cakes.
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana celebrated its tenth consecutive victory in Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket Awards. After receiving much feedback from guests, Dollywood officials extended the park’s award-winning festival two days. It kicked off on Nov. 4 and will run through Jan. 3 2017.
Smoky Mountain Christmas guests can upgrade a paid one-day admission ticket to a regular 2018 season pass for as low as $30 (plus tax when buying four or more). Ticket purchasers receive credit for the value of a regular one-day ticket ($69) toward the purchase of a 2018 season pass. A season pass purchased during Smoky Mountain Christmas provides unlimited admission to this year’s Christmas festival along with Dollywood’s entire 2018 season. Additionally, for each child’s season pass purchased, families will receive a copy of Dolly’s new children’s album, “I Believe in You.” (A one-day ticket is valid for an upgrade on the day of visit only.)
