Dolly and RaeLynn get a little sassy but stay classy on Cracker Barrel's Front Porch Series.

"A dream come true!" That's how singer/songwriter RaeLynn described her afternoon with Dolly Parton on Cracker Barrel's Front Porch Series.

Dolly and RaeLynn chatted about songwriting and onstage fashion while rocking in the iconic Cracker Barrel chairs. RaeLynn wanted to know if Dolly lounges around her home in sparkles and high heels. According to Dolly, the sparkles are optional, but the high heels are a must! The eight-time Grammy Award winner also told the budding artist how each of her big dreams "branch out" and grow new projects in her tree of life.

Dolly and RaeLynn were challenged to a game called "Classy or Sassy?" They confess how they would react in certain situations.

Dolly's newest CD, "Pure & Simple" debuted at #1 on national country charts worldwide. A deluxe edition which includes a 48-page book of photos, memories and stories, as well as two bonus tracks, is available exclusively at Cracker Barrel.

Originally from Texas, RaeLynn is currently touring with Blake Shelton. A connection she made after joining Team Blake on "The Voice" back in 2012.

Dolly Parton joins one of Country Music's newest faces on Cracker Barrel's Front Porch Series.

Rising country star, Cam, sits down with Dolly Parton on Cracker Barrel's classic wooden rockers. Cam asks Dolly about her songwriting, the Imagination Library and her legacy.

Cam gets a giggle out of Dolly with her reference to Dolly's "songwriting muscles" which Dolly admits are big. The two blond beauties go head to head in a trivia game called "Dolly or not Dolly?" Faced with witty quotes, they must decide if Dolly said it or not.

Dolly Parton announces $2.5 million parade set to debut during Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival

Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana has long been known as one of the world’s best holiday theme park events. Dolly Parton unveiled plans for an awe-inspiring new parade—dreamed up as only she can—which will add even more excitement to this family-favorite festival.

Like her new NBC holiday movie, "Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love," Dolly’s new parade celebrates the fun, faith, family and harmony of the holidays. Vibrant floats, interactive characters and a few other surprises help spread cheer throughout Dollywood this holiday season. Smiling, Dolly said,

“The joy I feel during the Christmas season makes my heart sing because of the love and sweet Christmas memories I have of family and friends from when I was a child.”

She continued by saying,

“Christmas is the time of year when traditions, faith and family come together to create experiences we all remember forever. That is why my new movie and this parade are so important for me. I truly believe The Parade of Many Colors will inspire some of those same lifelong memories for the families who see it.”

The Parade of Many Colors represents another significant investment made by The Dollywood Company as part of the $300 million investment strategy announced in 2013. The company also recently announced the addition of TailSpin Racer to Dollywood’s Splash Country for 2017.

Dollywood has added two days to its calendar, December 6 and 13, to provide guests more time to experience the eight-time winner for Best Christmas Event. One of Dollywood’s greatest entertainment offerings is remastered in 2016, as "Christmas in the Smokies," returns to its traditional home at D.P.’s Celebrity Theater. Guests can celebrate the joy of the season while a cast of singers and dancers performs hometown holiday favorites while accompanied by a band of live musicians!

Dollywood’s entertainment team brings a Christmas classic to life with the debut of "It’s a Wonderful Life." Based on the timeless holiday story of love and generosity, small town businessman George Bailey discovers the true value of life, family and friends with a little help from his guardian angel, Clarence.

Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas begins November 5, 2016.

Upon hearing the news, Dolly Parton, who co-produced and wrote every song on Pure & Simple, enthused,

"Boy, it's a good day for me. I am a happy girl! It feels great to be #1 as it's been a long time and it feels so good to still be in the game after all this time."

Remarked Doug Morris, CEO, Sony Music Entertainment,

“Congratulations, Dolly, for your stunning debut with Pure & Simple. You put your heart and soul in this album, and we join you in celebrating a long-overdue #1 on the country album chart.”

CTK Management CEO Danny Nozell said,

"There is nobody more deserving of this tremendous success. Having worked with Dolly for the past 13 years, I have never met any person that works harder than her. She is a businesswoman that understands her brand and knows exactly what to do and when to do it, and once again, she proves it with a #1 album."

The new project is a collection of love songs written and produced by Dolly. True to its name, the minimalist album uses simple arrangements to create a pure sound.
