“Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala,” a variety special featuring musical performances and a one-of-a-kind runway, airs Wednesday, Feb. 21 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
The two-hour special is co-hosted by actress Jane Lynch, with television personality Kelly Osbourne and “Entertainment Tonight’s” Rachel Smith as runway correspondents. Special guests with beloved pets include “Young Sheldon’s” Iain Armitage, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Cavallari, Kristin Chenoweth, Margaret Cho, Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus, Neil Patrick Harris, Carson Kressley, Jim Nantz, Jessica Simpson and Tigirlily Gold.
Musical performances include Dolly Parton and Carly Pearce singing “9 to 5,” Dolly and Lainey Wilson singing “I Will Always Love You,” Dolly and Carly anchoring “Jolene” which turns into a show-stopping group performance, country hitmaker Chris Janson performing “Hound Dog” with his beloved hound dog Willie, as well as an upcoming new single. Additional performers include Joy Oladokun, Grace Bowers and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band.
Watch stylish pups work the runway in the latest doggy fashion trends, and Dolly’s iconic looks from The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Glastonbury and more. Standout social super pups including Doug The Pug, Pooch of NYC, Noodles the Poodle, Tika the Iggy and Squid the Facility Dog also appear.
Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.

Dolly will be joined on the pink carpet by co-host Jane Lynch. The special event will feature performances of some of Dolly's most-loved classics, including “9 to 5,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Puppy Love” and “Jolene,” with Dolly and country hitmakers Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band performing. More guests will be announced at a later date.
“I have hosted or co-hosted many shows throughout my career, but I have never been more excited about co-hosting a show than I am about being part of this pet gala! I love animals. I’ve got all kinds, and of course, I’ve always had little dogs around, and big ones! We’re going to have some of all kinds and colors on the show, and there is nothing more fun to me than when little animals do what they do best, and I’m looking forward to it! There is so much fun stuff, and I know all the animal lovers out there are going to love this show,” said Dolly
In addition to the stylish pups working the runway in the latest doggy fashion trends, the show will feature special guests appearing alongside beloved pets, including "Young Sheldon’s" Iain Armitage, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Margaret Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Carson Kressley, Jim Nantz, Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Simpson and Rachel Smith, among others.
