Dolly releases 32nd solo album, ‘Something Special’
‘Something Special’ included seven new tracks along with three new versions of Dolly’s classics ‘Jolene,’ ‘The Seeker’ and ‘I Will Always Love You.’ The latter was recorded as a duet with Vince Gill and reached No. 15 on the country charts. It also won the Country Music Association’s Vocal Event of the Year Award in 1996 and received nominations from the TNN Music City News Awards and the GRAMMY Awards.
The album reached No. 54 on the Billboard 200 and No. 10 on the Country Album charts.
