As crisp autumn air begins to make its way into the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood comes to life with the sights, sounds and flavors of fall during the Harvest Festival presented by Humana (Sept. 12 – Oct. 27, 2025). The park is dressed and ready for the season with brilliant fall décor inspired by the Smokies’ beauty.
New to the fun this year, Country Fair transforms into the fanciful Candy Corn Country to celebrate this colorful fall treat! In this playful area, fun and sweetness grow together to create lifelong family memories in shades of yellow, white and orange.
From day to night, Dollywood transforms into a glowing wonderland with the return of Great Pumpkin LumiNights, a family favorite event that has previously been named as the theme park industry’s best fall event. Great Pumpkin LumiNights features a whimsical collection of pumpkin icons and intricately carved displays, plus ride-themed creations that pay tribute to favorites like Big Bear Mountain, Wild Eagle and Lightning Rod.
Throughout the festival, the air is filled with music from award-winning Southern gospel, bluegrass, country, and Americana artists performing across the park. Returning favorites join fresh acts, creating a dynamic entertainment lineup over the festival’s six weeks. More than 700 live performances take place during the run of the festival.
A number of headline artists take up residence during the Harvest Festival including Triumphant Quartet (Sept. 15-19), Keith Anderson (Sept. 20-21), The Grascals (Sept. 22-24), Lee Roy Parnell (Sept. 28), Sidewalk Prophets (Sept. 29- Oct. 3), Rhonda Vincent & The Rage (Oct. 5-7; Oct. 13-14), Emily Ann Roberts (Oct. 8-12) and Dailey & Vincent (Oct. 15-19). All concerts are included with park admission.
The artistry doesn’t stop with the music — Dollywood’s skilled craftspeople offer treasures, from autumn-scented candles to hand-blown glass ornaments, while visiting artisans showcase a number of handmade items perfect for that special gift to commemorate a harvesttime day at Dollywood.
The park’s Harvest Sky above Showstreet bursts with color, while more than 12,000 pumpkins fill every corner of the park. Guests also can enjoy including gargantuan gourds of nearly 1,000 pounds at the Colossal Pumpkin Patch presented by Food City. Many kid-favorite characters also will be in the park, including Harvey and the Pumpkin Master, for unforgettable photo moments.
Fall flavors take center stage with pumpkin-spiced and harvest-inspired dishes available at both seasonal locations and park restaurants. Guests can enjoy hearty options like smoked pork flatbread, creamy butternut squash ravioli, corn strips and stuffed acorn squash. Sweet tooths will be satisfied with tasty treats such as salted caramel apple elephant ear, candy corn punch and pumpkin whoopie pie. The popular tasting pass returns, allowing guests to sample multiple festival specialties for one price.

As the air begins to cool and hearts begin to warm, families gather for favorite traditions, including a visit to Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana. The festival begins Monday, Sept. 9 and runs through Monday, Oct. 28. Fully embracing the change of seasons, Dollywood is reimagined with stunning park décor inspired by the autumnal beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Dollywood entirely transforms again from day to night, and several areas of the park come alive with the glow of Great Pumpkin LumiNights presented by Covenant Health.
Shimmering red, orange and yellow leaves take flight in the Harvest Sky along Showstreet. And, of course, Dollywood’s Harvest Festival isn’t complete without pumpkins of every shape, size and color throughout the park, including the colossal pumpkins, now presented by Food City. These giant gourds come from growers across the East Coast and can weigh up to 1500 lbs. More than 12,000 pumpkins in total call Dollywood home this fall.
Returning this year is Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights, one of the park’s most popular events since its inception in 2017. Last year, the nighttime spectacular was nominated for the USA Today 10Best Award for Best Theme Park Halloween Event. Joining the collection of creatively carved pumpkins and larger-than-life icons are 10 ride-themed pumpkin displays, including representations of guest-favorite family coaster Big Bear Mountain and ever-thrilling Wild Eagle. Guests can capture picture-perfect memories with captivating characters, including Harvey and the Pumpkin Master.
Pumpkins aren’t only visually present throughout the park – they’re in many new culinary offerings, as well. Warm, hearty lunch and dinner options include spiced pumpkin bisque, everything toasted garlic knots with pumpkin cheese sauce and hickory smoked ribs with pumpkin spiced rub, found at seasonal culinary booths and restaurants. Other fall flavors are found in various stuffed sweet potatoes, including the maple-brown sugar pecan cinnamon apple stuffed sweet potato, and refreshing beverage options like harvest apple lemonade.
There is always time for a sweet treat, and guests can delight in fresh-baked cookies and cakes – like the apple cider cupcake – at Spotlight Bakery, as well as other delectable offerings throughout the park. The tasting pass allows guests to enjoy multiple food and beverage items, including these treats and more, at different festival locations for one price. The pass can be purchased in the park or online for $39.99 plus tax or $36.99 plus tax for gold and diamond season passholders.
Talented Southern gospel, bluegrass, jazz and country artists fill the mountain air with music. Gospel music stars include The Isaacs, Triumphant Quartet, Jeff and Sheri Easter, 11th Hour and A.R.M.D. Vasilios. Country acts such as Mandy Barnett, Lee Roy Parnell and T.G. Sheppard showcase their gifts on stages throughout the park. Suzy Bogguss, former Dollywood performer, brings her talents back home this fall.
The Pines Theater will host The String Revolution, a group known for their memorable fusion of jazz, rock, classical and world music, infused together to create captivating records, as well as artists like Redd and The Paper Flowers, Jessica Willis Fisher and Nashville’s Rockland Road. And “NightTime at the Back Porch” will feature talents including Run Katie Run, New Zealand’s Tami Neilson, Ruby Leigh from The Voice and Acadian party band Beauxmont.

And guests will not want to miss the brand-new offerings at Ember & Elm: Tastes Rooted In The Smokies at Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge, such as spiced strawberry grilled salmon or a smoke-kissed duck breast with an orange chipotle glaze.
