Dolly releases 16th solo album, ‘Dolly: The Seeker / We Used To’

“Dolly: The Seeker/We Used To” is Dolly’s 16th studio solo album, released in Nov. 1975.

Dolly releases sixth solo album, “Golden Streets of Glory”

In Feb. 1971, Dolly released her sixth solo and first gospel album, “Golden Streets of Glory.” The album drew on Dolly’s childhood which she spent singing in church. Among the album’s songs are two written by Dolly’s aunt Dorothy Jo, her mother’s sister.


“Golden Streets of Glory” reached No. 22 on the U.S. Top Country Album Charts. It was nominated for Best Sacred Performance at the GRAMMY Awards.
