Children and their families are invited to a FREE carnival at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge. There will be games, prizes and food for children ages 3-12. The main event of Whoadeo 2014 is the stick horse races. Children compete in three different age groups—ages 3-5, 6-9 and 10-12. Prizes include tablets, bicycles, tickets to local attractions and much more.
Whoadeo 2014 also features a costume contest, and a “Best of Show” will be awarded to a boy and a girl from each age group. Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede will also give each registered child a free ticket to the 6:00 p.m. show with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Guests get a taste of a Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dolly’s Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, TN. In its 26th season, Christmas at Dixie begins with Dolly reminiscing about the Christmases she spent growing up in the Great Smoky Mountains as snow gently falls in the 35,000 square foot arena.
From there, Dolly’s entire Dixie Stampede cast joins in the fun. Thirty-two magnificent horses and dozens of performers take guests on a nostalgic holiday adventure. The celebration is complete with a breathtaking, live Nativity scene, the Sugar Plum fairy bringing toys to life, Christmas music, some friendly competition between elves from the North Pole and South Pole, and, of course, a four-course holiday feast for the family.
Christmas at Dixie Stampede is presented from November to January each year.
Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is making seniors a special offer in 2014 by hosting Tennova SENIORextra Day during the last week of September.
SENIORextra Day at Dixie Stampede is set aside for seniors and their families. It includes a complimentary health and wellness fair. Seniors will have access to health screenings and services, as well as special offers from local retailers.
Seniors will then enjoy the Dixie Belle Saloon Show, the main show and, of course the four-course family feast, all for one great price!

The NQC makes its debut in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., in September of 2014 after many years in Louisville, Ky. For two exclusive shows, performers from the National Quartet Convention will perform in Dolly’s 35,000 square foot arena at Dixie Stampede. Then guests will be thrilled with all-new special effects, highlighted with a rousing new overture and video projections which fill the arena with stampeding horses so lifelike the thundering hooves rattle the tables.
During the patriotic finale, which is set to Dolly’s "Color Me America," the entire arena floor is filled with the image of an American flag blowing in the breeze as a dozen horses and riders proudly present our nation’s colors.
