Listen to “Bets on Us,” Dolly’s new single with acclaimed DJ Trio Cheat Codes, now available to stream.

Dolly Parton collaborated with multi-platinum, global hit-making trio Cheat Codes for a new single, “Bets On Us.” The song, from the album One Night in Nashville, was released on January 6. Dolly shared,

“I love how ‘Bets on Us’ turned out with Cheat Codes. When I heard this song, I felt like I could contribute something special.”

For their highly anticipated country album, the acclaimed DJ trio is elated to have a song with Dolly. Matthew Russell of the trio said,

“Having Dolly on this album is so surreal and a full circle moment for me personally. As someone who grew up in the Midwest, my family and I would go to her (Stampede) event in the Great Smoky Mountains. Her larger than life photos were everywhere and now having a song with one of the biggest music legends of all time, and especially in the country space, is incredible.”

Dolly Bets on Another Dance Hit

“Bets on Us” is not Dolly’s first time working with DJs who are in the Dance/ EDM space. Dolly’s previous forays into the EDM/Dance world have all been successful. Her track record of club hits includes 2021’s “Jolene (Destructo Remix),” 2019’s #1 Gold-certified hit “Faith” featuring Galantis & Mr. Probz, 1997’s top 5 “Peace Train” remix, 1983’s extended play of her hit single “Potential New Boyfriend,” and the disco-charged 1978 double-sided long-play picture disc of “Baby I’m Burnin/I Wanna Fall In Love.”

One Night in Nashville is an entirely new endeavor for the genre-bending trio, which has put out many records in the electronic dance, pop and alt rock genres. In addition to the collaboration with Dolly, the album features singles with an eclectic mix of artists and songwriters, including the current Top 40 radio hit “I Remember” featuring Russell Dickerson, “One Night Left” with MacKenzie Porter, “Lose You” featuring Jimmie Allen, “How Do You Love” featuring Lee Brice & Lindsay Ell and “Never Love You Again” featuring Little Big Town & Bryn Christopher.

Dolly Parton and Kelly Clarkson release “9 to 5” duet from the new documentary, Still Working 9 to 5

Dolly Parton has teamed up with Kelly Clarkson for a new duet of her classic hit, “9 to 5.” The reimagined version, produced by Shane McAnally, Sasha Alex Sloan and King Henry, was created especially for the new documentary Still Working 9 to 5, which will be released in select theaters on September 16.

“I was blown away when I heard what Shane had done with my song,” Dolly shared with Rolling Stone. “This arrangement shows how differently a song can be done and the story can be told in a whole new way. A special thanks to Steve Summers for getting the ball rolling on this whole musical venture.”

Steve Summers, creative director for Dolly Parton Enterprises and an executive producer on the new film, is credited with suggesting the slower-tempo, moodier interpretation that reflects the continuing struggles faced by women in the workplace.

Still Working 9 to 5

The documentary film Still Working 9 to 5 examines the 40-year evolution of gender inequality and discrimination in the workplace since the 1980 release of the groundbreaking seminal comedy, 9 to 5, which starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and Dabney Coleman. Featuring interviews with Dolly and some of her original 9 to 5 co-stars, Still Working 9 to 5 reflects on the making of the original comedy, the issues of gender inequality that the film addresses, and explores why workplace inequality is no laughing matter.

Now Available

The “9 to 5” duet, featuring Dolly Parton and Kelly Clarkson, is available now on all digital and streaming platforms. Still Working 9 to 5 will be available for a limited theatrical release beginning September 16, with additional screenings at major film festivals throughout the United States.

Original Novel “Run, Rose, Run” Co-Authored By Dolly Parton and James Patterson Available March 7th

Dolly Parton has released her latest album, “Run, Rose, Run,” available now on all digital streaming platforms and as a digital download, as well as on CD, standard vinyl and some special vinyl color variants. The album serves as a companion to the original novel, “Run, Rose, Run,” co-authored by James Patterson and Parton, set for release on March 7th.

Woman Up (And Take It Like A Man)

Alongside the album, Dolly has also released the third single and lyric video for “Woman Up (And Take It Like A Man)” – a fiery, inspirational track about not giving up and taking your place at the table when others doubt you.

“I just think this song really suits both of the female characters in the book,” Dolly says. “If you’re going to be in this business you’ve got to toughen up! You gotta ‘woman up and take it like a man’ – be as good as or better than all these men…managers, record label folks and these other characters that give them a hard time in the story. So, this was one song that I think is kind of like another “9 to 5,” I had all female voices on that one and I think it came out really good!”

Academy of Country Music Awards

Dolly will be hosting the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards from Las Vegas on March 7th via Amazon Prime. Additionally, Dolly and the music from “Run, Rose, Run” will be featured on Sonos Radio, premiering on March 10th on her own Songteller Radio Station, as the Music Choice March Artist of the Month and on Pandora Artist Takeover of Today’s Country: Dolly creates a Pop-Up featuring new music and her biggest hits.
