Dolly Parton invites fans to join her in movie theaters worldwide for Dolly Parton’s Rockstar Global First Listen Event, a unique cinema experience presented by Trafalgar Releasing on Wednesday, November 15 (with select encores on Thursday, November 16).
The worldwide fan event offers a first listen to selections from Dolly’s upcoming Rockstar album, along with an exclusive interview with Dolly. The event will bring Dolly fans together for a musical preview of one of the year’s most anticipated albums. Inspired by her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the 60-minute program will premiere at 7pm in each time zone. Tickets to Dolly Parton’s Rockstar Global First Listen Event are available beginning today at DollyRockstarEvent.com. The album Rockstar will be available November 17.
This one-of-a-kind fan event will also feature a never-before-seen performance of a holiday song
“Circle Of Love”, plus a rare performance of her classic hit “9 to 5,” making it a can’t-miss experience for
Dolly’s legions of fans.

In keeping with Dolly’s long-standing commitment to giving back, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Music Will and their global partner organizations. Music Will is the largest nonprofit music program in the US public school system. Further, Music Will works with sister organizations around the world to magnify the power of music education.

Dolly Parton has released the latest track from her upcoming Rockstar album (available November 17th) - a powerful duet of "Wrecking Ball" with her fairy goddaughter, Miley Cyrus. The dynamic pair first performed the track on Miley's New Year’s Eve Party which aired live on NBC.
"When I heard 'Wrecking Ball' I almost wept in my car," Dolly shared. "When it started into the chorus it hit me like a wrecking ball! I thought how great can a song be and how great can Miley Cyrus be? I thought, I have to have that song on my rock album and I have to have Miley sing it with me! I love it and I hope you do!"
Dolly's Rockstar album is one of the most highly anticipated projects of 2023. The album has already produced chart-topping hits including the original song "Bygones (feat. Rob Halford)" which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart and Dolly's original song, "World on Fire," which also reached the No. 1 Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart the month of its release. Third of all, I love being a part of this video to try to make people think about what’s going on in this world today. Shout out to the little children that helped with the video! If our children don’t make it, then what will? Again, I ask ‘What’s Up?’ Enjoy.”
“How is one supposed to react when the greatest and most prolific songwriter in the world wants to cover a song YOU wrote? Her version of ‘What’s Up?’ is so good,” Linda said. “Her spin on it made me feel like it was her song. No surprise there. Being on set making the video was a comfortable easy experience. The vibe on set was chill and Dolly and I got to catch up and laugh a lot. I could go on and on, obviously I’m a fan!”
Filmed at Eakin Elementary School in downtown Nashville on one of 2023’s hottest days of the year and directed by Steve Summers (produced by NOZ Entertainment), the touching video airs September 22 exclusively on MTV and CMT/CMT Music/CMT on Pluto TV (check local listings for times), as well as on their iconic Times Square billboard.
